FARMER'S WELL & BIRBAL

During Emperor Akbar time ,Birbal was famous for his witty things . He used to  solve problems & keep everyone happy. Here , is another witty Birbal's Story.
Once a  rich Man sold his well to a Farmer. Next day when a farmer went to draw the water from the well, the man Didn't allow him to draw the water from it. He said" I have sold you only the well, not the water, so you cannot take out the water from the well.Farmer got sad & panic when he heard this stuff from Rich man as he was not told this things while buying . He felt he was been cheated and went to emperor's court . He described everything to emperor & asked for the Justice as Akbar Kingdom was popular Those days for Justice. The emperor ,Akbar called Birbal & handed over the case to solve it. Birbal called the man who sold the well to the farmer. Birbar asked ," why you are doing this stuffs with farmer , as he needs more water than you. He needs water for his cows, buffaloes , irrigation and many more. Why don't you let him to use water as you have sold the well to him. The Man Replied ," Birbal , i have sold the well to the farmer , not the water. He has no right to draw the water from the well."The Birbal gave grinned and said to him," Good , but look since you have sold the well to this farmer and you are claimming that water is yours, then you have no right to keep your water in farmer's well. Either you need to pay rent to the farmer for keeping your water in his well or you take out all water from his well Immediately."The Man understood that his trick has failed . He went to the farmer immediately & apologized. He told to Birbal, he cannot pay rent for water & he don't need that water . So, farmer can use it , well belongs to the farmer. The farmer became very happy and went out of the court Praising the Birbal deeds.
Moral : Don't try to cheat poor people, otherwise it will end up paying back to them .Don't act smart to the place where is not needed.
